Jean Chalumeau grew up with 2 brothers who both studied martial arts. As the younger of the 3, he was asked to play the bad guy and was the default sparring partner of choice. Having grown up w/ a fondness and respect for Martial arts, it wasn’t until Jean found WingTsun did he feel that he’s found HIS art. “The practicality and efficiency of it, makes it appeal to me. As much as it is an art, I also feel like there’s a science to it!”

Jean moved to Connecticut a few years ago and vows never to go back to New York. Jean has a masters in Telecommunications and a BS in Information Systems. He is an avid “Gadgeteer” and Techie who loves technology.
